Domenic was very involved in his middle school's Student Council Committee.
In 6th grade, Domenic started a schoolwide event in which students sent letters to the sick patients at Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital. He also met with the Superintendent multiple times to improve student life at his school. That year, Domenic was selected to attend a leadership conference at Quinnipiac University.
In 7th grade, Domenic was the only non-eighth grader on the Executive Board. He also helped his school with projects that assisted people all over the world. UNICEF and the Salvation Army were just a few of the organizations that these fundraisers benefited. He also helped his school adopt an African child and provide him with life's necessities, including food, water, shelter, and an education.
In 8th grade, Domenic was elected both Student Council President and 8th Grade Head Representative. He helped start a variety of new projects and fundraisers that benefited the school and the community, including the schoolwide celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week.
During Domenic's three years of middle school, he has won eight prestigious awards related to what he has done for Student Council. Some of his awards came with monetary prizes, as well.
This year, Domenic is a member of the Freshman Committee, and he is the only Freshman on the Presidents' Coucnil. He looks forward to serving you and working hard to improve your experience at Holy Cross.
Domenic was recently asked to be a guest speaker at his middle school's first Student Council meeting on September 27th to teach students how to become better representatives and good leaders. The meeting went very well.
